Is the pen mightier than the pull of Apple and iOS? Do Super
AMOLED displays make you feel super or does the game selection in Apple's app
store for iPhone make you feel giddy? That's right, it's time for another
Samsung vs. Apple battle, and this time its between two of the best phablet
smartphones on the market: the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the iPhone 6s Plus.
This was an unusually big "s" year for Apple and the latest big
screen iPhone has a lot to offer. Meanwhile, Samsung pulled back on some once
key features while focusing instead on a premium design and classier materials.
That makes the on-paper race a little closer since both phones now lack a
removable battery, microSD card slot and IR blaster.
As ever, your OS preference is the most important factor in
choosing a phone, that is if you have a strong preference for Android or iOS.
The usual factors apply here, though as the operating systems grow more
similar, the divide isn't as great as you might think. As ever, Android is the
more customizable with widgets, alternative launchers (home screen
replacements) and even alternative ROMs. Apple's iOS 9 operating system is very
secure, easy to use and streamlined since Apple makes both the OS and hardware
it runs on.
There are quite a few points to cover, from display size,
resolution and quality to speed to ecosystem and design. So sit back and watch
our in-depth comparison of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the iPhone 6s Plus.
